CALGARY FOOD & DRUG EXECUTIVES AT A GLANCE

Charity, Education, Inspiration and Networking

Meeting
CFDE Our Mission

The Calgary Food & Drug Executives was established in 1974 to bring industry members (Consumer Packaged Goods Company Representatives and Grocery/Drug Retailers and Wholesalers) together for networking and to provide a forum for discussion about industry issues.

The CFDE also co-hosts and help organize the Santa Cause event each December with the Retail Council of Canada. The Santa Cause was established to provide an opportunity for representatives of the grocery industry in Western Canada to come together each year during the holiday season to honour someone within the industry and raise some much needed funds for charity.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THE COMMUNITY

Calgary Food & Drug Executives is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our Non-Profit Organization is aimed at providing a holistic approach to feeding those that need the services of the Calgary Food Bank. They are our partners and our Charity of choice for all that we do.

FOOD DONATION DROP-OFF

Helping The Community

The Calgary Food & Drug Executives are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing the issue of hunger. Food Donation Drop-Off is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.

Reinforcing our Commitment

This is our flagship event where we honor those who have contributed to our industry and have made a positive impact to their communities. Proceeds from this event are donated to the Charities of choice of the recipients.
Since it's inception, the CFDE has donated over $149,000 to various Charities.
